Former Business Coaching Franchise Executives Identify Top Franchise Opportunity for 2010

Renowned industry leaders announce the release of an exclusive 77-page report, The 2010 Business Coaching Franchise Buyers Guide: Everything You Need to Know About Buying a Business Coaching Franchise.

January 27, 2010 — Former business coaches and business coaching franchise executives Eric Dombach and Michael Cody recently announced the release of their new 77-page report, The 2010 Business Coaching Franchise Buyer’s Guide. “As in any business, there’s a lot of risk in buying a business coaching franchise,” said Dombach. “We hope to help eliminate some of the nasty surprises that can befall the unsuspecting consumer.

Renowned industry leaders announce the release of an exclusive 77-page report, The 2010 Business Coaching Franchise Buyers Guide: Everything You Need to Know About Buying a Business Coaching Franchise.
Dombach and Cody — who have spent the last eight years recruiting business coaches into a total of four of the world’s most prominent business coaching systems — promise that the report will be an eye-opener for anyone considering a business coaching franchise.

Dombach and Cody are no longer associated with any specific business coaching franchise system, and decided the time was right to share a candid, behind-the-scenes perspective. “Without a doubt, this is the most comprehensive compilation of information on business coaching franchises ever gathered in one place,” Cody said. “Our objective was to show readers what’s really going on when you’re in discussions with business coaching franchise executives.”

Business coaching is an exploding billion-dollar industry, with growth rates between 18%-25% each year (MarketData Report, 2009; The Economist, Sept. 2008). Dombach said that many prospective business coaches turn to franchises to take some of the pressure off establishing a system and brand of their own. “Franchising allows you to leverage other people’s time and resources and tap into an established, proven system,” Dombach said. “It’s the reason I decided to buy a franchise when I first cut my teeth as a business coach.”

In fact, Dombach quickly catapulted to international acclaim as a business coach, earning numerous awards and building a 7-figure coaching practice from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, it sold for $1 Million USD. From 2005-2009, Dombach consulted with and rendered professional services for four of the world’s most prominent business coaching franchise systems. Likewise, Cody is an accomplished 6-figure business coach and formerly worked as a business coaching franchise executive.

However, Dombach warned that while franchising can be an effective way for business coaches to break into the industry, there are pitfalls. “As in any business, there’s a lot of risk,” Dombach said. “Michael and I wrote The 2010 Business Coaching Franchise Buyer’s Guide in the hopes of helping folks understand what they’re getting into when they buy a business coaching franchise. We hope to eliminate some of the nasty surprises that can befall the unsuspecting consumer.”

The 2010 Business Coaching Franchise Buyer’s Guide is a unique, compelling look into the world of business coaching franchises — and a must-read for anyone considering buying a franchise as they venture into the industry.

Running a Six-Figure Practice in a Few Short Months

Running a Six-Figure Practice in a Few Short Months

The Coaches’ Coach has been a lifesaver for me, and my coaching business. I hired TCC at one of the lowest points in my business. The life and spark to grow was just not there. I almost didn’t hire TCC because I had wasted so much money on other “experts” who provided little to nothing of value. Thankfully, I was able to put that fear aside. My coach, Eric Dombach, was patient and persistent in helping me push beyond my past and break free from limitations. With his help, I have transformed from a struggling coaching business doing a few thousand dollars a month to running a six-figure practice in a few short monthsI would not have been this successful this fast without my coaches’ coach. If you are a coach who wants to grow, you must hire Coaches’ Coach!

First Business Coaching Client Signed at $1,500 Per Month In Just 3 Weeks!

I just signed my first client for $1,500 per month! It’s a non-profit beer company. I initially set up a meeting with the owner, a friend of mine, with the intention of getting some good leads and connections as she is extremely well connected with business owners. As she continued to ask questions about the coaching process she stopped and said, “As I’m thinking about how to help you in your new business it’s clear to me that the best way is for me to become your first client so I can tell everyone how great you are.” How unexpected, but thoroughly thrilling! I couldn’t have asked for a better client as she is looking to expand the distribution of her beer into the mid-west and add another product line. So, we’re definitely going to have some fun.  And to make this even more rewarding all of the profits go to charities that help the working poor, children and homeless.

2 Business Coaching Clients Signed For $1,750 Per Month

I got the lead from my warm market of referrals. They make medicated skin care products and environmental disinfectants and do about 3 million in sales per year. I contacted the owners a couple of months ago, they were excited and knew they needed some help in growing their business. They cancelled 3 meetings over a 2 month period and I considered giving up on them. On our coaching call, you told me to practice patience (for me being a high D that’s tough). I rebooked another CCS with them. The husband and wife team completed the score card and she actually score 0’s on many of the Silver Bullets. They stressed, argued with each other and then asked “when can we get started.” I pulled out my handy contract and signed them up for a coaching program. I screwed up by not explaining well enough the “double” fee in the first month and had to put out the fire when she got my invoice for $3,500 for coaching and a strategic plan, instead of $1,750 for the coaching alone. I learned a ton, and I know that they will have a huge ROI from our services.

Hey Eric – I just closed my 2nd client into a coaching program and walked away with a $3,500 check! This interior design company has grown and prospered over the years but the owner found herself out of control, working too many hours and without any systems to track her progress. She knows that she needs help and is extremely thankful that she has finally found someone local that can help coach her with her company. She and her husband were very impressed with the system. I could tell in the 3 hour CCS that she feels like she finally has some direction to take her business to the next level and get rid of a huge weight off of her shoulder. I look forward to working with her and her group!

First Business Coaching Client Signed At $1,750 Per Month In Just 2 Months

I have on my desk a freshly signed agreement for $1,750 per month with my first Business Coaching client!  I was introduced to this client through my Denver Chamber Leads Group. I attended a meeting with the client thinking it was another networking meeting. It quickly became apparent that my client really needed my services to work on several current challenges and I transitioned into setting a CCS. After meeting with her once more and once with her husband (who is involved in the company part-time but looking to retire) they decided to engage me as their coach and they signed the agreement today! It is exciting to think I can have an impact in helping them turn around their company. I will keep you posted on my progress!

It’s official! After just a few months in, I’ve booked my 3rd business coaching client and the largest contract yet. We start on Tuesday. My monthly revenues for October should be at $4,600 and I have three more B2B clients pending!
