How Sabrina Landed $9,900/Month From 6 Clients In Her First 30 Days!

Today I want to share a story of courage and inspiration about a real-life business coaching rockstar.

Because I think we all need it. I know I do.

This morning I was talking with one of my business partners and I said, “I have a serious case of  bad-news-fatigue.” He agreed — he has it too.

How about you?

Bad news generates ad revenue for mainstream and social media companies. That’s why I’ve tuned them out — I get my news from other sources. But no matter where you turn, there’s just more bad news, conflict, anger.

And yet — there ARE good things happening in the world! And you and I can be a part of it.

So, here’s the story. I hope it inspires you!

Meet Real-Life Business Coaching Rockstar Sabrina Renée Kinckle

Last month, I had the privilege of meeting Sabrina Renée Kinckle, a very successful black and Hispanic businesswoman with experience in both small companies and large multinational corporations where she was responsible for revenue growth. She decided to take the plunge into full-time business coaching when a COVID-related down-sizing set her free.

When we met, Sabrina was looking for a structured business coaching model: a process for generating leads, winning and retaining clients, and the chance to connect with other coaches who could learn and grow together with access to an experienced coach who could mentor her and de-risk her journey.

So she came onboard with Coaches’ coach in June and used our program exactly as it was created. Her goal was to land 2 business coaching clients in her first month and earn $250,000 in her first year.

Instead, she landed 6 new business coaching clients in her first month worth $9,900 per month in recurring revenue, an average of $1,650 per client. As this rate of growth, earning $250,000 will be a walk in the park for Sabrina.

You can watch the full interview on how she did it HERE.

Key Takeaways from Sabrina’s Experience

This is a story of courage and inspiration for a few reasons:

  1. If we’ve learned anything from the last couple weeks, it’s that black Americans don’t get treated fairly in the U.S.
  2. Sabrina is also a woman. By far and away, most small/mid-sized businesses in the U.S. are owned by white men.
  3. She started her practice right in the middle of the nastiest economic downturn since the Great Depression. There is no guarantee that this will be a V-shaped recovery.

So, you’ve got a black and Hispanic woman starting a business coaching practice in a white male-dominated industry, in the middle of one of the scariest economic contractions in history!

Just…WOW.

If she can do it, perhaps you can too!

Leverage Your Business Experience to Become a Business Coach

Leverage Your Business Experience to Become a Business Coach

If you’re a business coach or just thinking about what it might take to become a business coach, you’ve probably got a major problem and don’t even realize it.

You have no idea how much value you can deliver to the typical small-to-midsize business.

If you did, you’d stop second-guessing yourself and you’d become a business coach tomorrow!

The typical business coach can add $100,000 to $200,000 to the bottom line of most SMB’s and that’s why owner-managers are happily investing $12,000 to $36,000 per year to have us coach them.

How many clients like that do you need to replace your salary?

Almost every day, I talk with executives leaving leadership roles in professionally managed, enterprise-level companies and considering a pivot to business coaching.

The typical business coach can add $100,000 to $200,000 to the bottom line of most SMB’s and that’s why owner-managers are happily investing $12,000 to $36,000 per year to have us coach them.

Maybe you’re thinking:

“I’ve got a lifetime of experience in P&L leadership or sales management or lean-6-sigma or finance, etc. I KNOW I should be monetizing my education and expertise much better than I have. Maybe business coaching is the path forward. But is this a real career? Can I really make a great living at it?”

The answer is “yes!” The business coaching industry is a thing. It’s real!

According to Entrepreneur.com, “Business coaching is a lucrative business that can tap into the massive market of entrepreneurs and business owners trying to find their way in the world of commerce.”

Business Coaching Is Profitable Because You Create More Value than you Receive in Revenue

How do you go about creating MORE value than ever before in the next phase of your career?

By solving bigger problems than ever.

Manoj Arora put it this way: “Do not focus on money, instead focus on a problem that needs to be solved for the world and money will follow you as a byproduct.

And THAT is what business coaching is all about!

Right now, business owners are fighting for their survival and the smart ones are reaching out to business coaches for help — by the tens of thousands.

Your experience in business is just what they need.

In every recession, brilliant business executives just like you take their hard-won expertise to the streets in droves and plunge into the world of coaching SMBs.

So what are you waiting for? NOW is the time to become a business coach. And our FREE ebook, How to Become a Business Coach will walk you through establishing your practice — every step of the way!

Coaching as Serving

Coaching as Serving

The past few weeks have been among the most emotionally disorienting in my entire life.

I think many of us here in the U.S. are feeling this way.

For those of you in other countries, please bear with me for a moment…

Coaches’ Coach is a global network of 1000s of exceptionally talented business coaches. But I think that we’ve become more than just a network. Recently, one of our U.K. business coaches described us as a “family.” Wow! What an honor that you would think of us that way.

That’s why I want you to know how to support those of us in the U.S. — and even pray for us if that’s your jam.

I say “disorienting” because on one hand we were stunned by the gruesome display of brokenness we face here in the U.S. with the murder of George Floyd and the eruption of rioting in 350 of our cities.

In my entire life, I’ve never felt so powerless to do anything meaningful and helpful. I don’t know what to do other than to just love and serve people.

The whole thing makes me weep and pray.

On the other hand, we’ve seen a stunning amount of really good economic news here in the U.S. as we look at what happened in May:

  • Businesses, both large and small, added a total of 3.8 million jobs.
  • Unemployment dropped from 14.7% to 13.3%.
  • Labor force increased in size to 1.7 million.

Brian Wesbury, Chief Economist of First Trust summarized it this way: “The US economy is healing much faster than anyone expected, justifying recent optimism in the stock market and showing the benefits of easing lockdowns around the country.”

Obviously, we have a long way to go, but the turnaround is happening much faster than many economists predicted!

So that’s why it’s been a disorienting few weeks for me! So much bad news and good news all in rapid succession.

How Can Coaches Make a Difference?

So what do we do right now as business coaches, especially here in the U.S.?

We continue being who we are — we give and we serve!

This recession is creating a once-in-a-decade opportunity for us as business coaches because business owners are reaching out for help with an eagerness we haven’t seen since the great recession of 2008-2010.

You’ll get all the tools you need to make this a reality — every marketing campaign, sales script, and coaching template — in our comprehensive business coaching system. And to be sure you have a chance to see and try it first, we offer a FREE 30-day trial.

Do I Need a Business Coaching Franchise to Be Successful as a Coach?

Do I Need a Business Coaching Franchise to Be Successful as a Coach?

This is one of the questions we hear most often from professionals considering a coaching career.

Do I need a business coaching franchise to be successful as a coach?

The answer I give them? Not anymore.

In my experience, there are three things you need for business coaching success…

  1. A business coaching system. The more comprehensive, the better. The system should cover everything you need for business coaching success–lead generation, sales conversion, your own business management and metrics…and of course a solid, effective process for coaching and keeping your clients. Without this, you’re flying by the seat of your pants, and losing time and money in the process!
  2. A mentor. It should be no surprise that a business coach needs a business coach! You need someone who understands the industry and what it takes to win. Business coaches should always be practicing what we preach by employing the services of master coaches and mentors. I have a coach. My most successful business coach colleagues have coaches. You need one, too.
  3. Community. Business coaching can be a lonely gig. Solopreneurship is great because you control your own schedule and steer your own destiny…but human beings do better in tribes. You need a support system of dedicated professionals and peers who do what you do, who can celebrate your successes and help you overcome your obstacles, and who can provide you with tips, ideas, and strategies that work in the real world.

Why the Business Coaching Franchise Option Has Become Obsolete

Business coaching franchises used to be the only source to go to get each of the three elements you need to be successful. And even then, it was something of a crap shoot. Some have great systems — others are lackluster. A rare few provide solid, proven mentors — all too frequently, the “executives” in franchise systems are struggling just as much to make heads or tails of the industry as you are! What all franchises do provide well is community, and that’s fantastic.

But if you want to get into a business coaching franchise, you’re looking at a financial outlay of $50,000-$200,000!  That’s $50,000-$200,000 for, realistically, one or two of the elements you need to be successful.

With the proliferation of online technology, another, better way has evolved.

Business coaching membership systems, like the one we offer at the Coaches’ Coach, provide you with all three elements you need to be successful at a fraction of the cost. Not only do the systems, mentorship, and community tend to be superior…perhaps most importantly, you can hang onto the war chest of $50,000-$200,000 you need to get your practice started — money you can spend on MARKETING and closing deals!

Bottom line? Business coaching franchises are an obsolete way of becoming a business coach. Be sure to examine ALL your options before you commit.

How Sabrina Landed $9,900/Month From 6 Clients In Her First 30 Days!

I Closed 6 Clients, A Total Of $9,900/Month Within 30 Days!

Eric, your program is amazing! I love it and it completely helped me pivot my business. Thank you!
I had been a business owner for many years and co-own a consultancy that I worked part-time while balancing my full-time employment. I was always scared to take the final leap into working as an entrepreneur full-time. I’ve held several executive positions at both large multinational corporations and small companies where I was responsible for directing and coaching sales departments that amassed huge revenue growth. Due to COVID, I felt like this was the moment to take that leap and focus on my business full-time.

While I had previously incorporated business coaching in my consulting practice, I didn’t have a structured coaching framework. I was unsure how to get started, what was realistic to charge, how to win and retain clients, and how to scale my coaching business. I also knew I needed a well-defined system to consistently generate coaching leads, uncover opportunities and win clients. I was looking for a program that would not only provide tips, tools and templates, but would also give me access to my own coach and an opportunity to connect with others who were learning and growing.

Originally, my goal was to close 2 clients in my first month and make $250,000 in my first year. I’ve used the program exactly as created and have seen tremendous results. Prior to starting the RSCP (Coaches’ Coach Rockstar Coaching Program), I was averaging gaining 1 new client every 30-45 days. Through this program, I have closed 6 new clients bringing in $9,900 in less than 30 days of starting and I am steadily building a pipeline that will ensure a continual pattern of revenue and profit growth for my company. It’s very clear that I’ll surpass my $250,000 goal, and I couldn’t be happier!

I had no idea how much I needed the accountability piece that the program provides. Through the RSCP, I receive group coaching and one-on-one coaching. It’s a system that helps to keep you on track of your goals. Additionally, the program has provided me with templates, tools, and videos that completely lay out every aspect of the coaching business. I learned the best way to get started, how to generate leads, how to successfully get referrals and create profitable joint partnerships, how to use social media marketing, when and how to apply outsourced telemarketing and what scripts to use, how to actually coach and retain my clients, and so much more.

I have been delighted and surprised by how attentive leadership and the certified coaches have been. Whenever I have had a question or just needed to get some ideas, I’ve received near-immediate responses, even on weekends and holidays! I have been floored by how much I feel like the leaders of this program care about our individual businesses and success. Too many programs say that “your success is our success,” but with the RSCP, it’s not just rhetoric.

It is extremely important to have a tested and successful framework, support and an already successful coach helping you reach your goals. In my mind, investing in the RSCP is a no brainer! It is the number one investment any serious business coach should make if they want rapid and sustainable results. It’s worth it. Your business is worth it. You are worth it!”
